New check-in module has been implemented in the Engagedly platform. With role-based navigation and improved statistics, check-in 2.0 aims to simplify the tasks of the managers, team members, and admins for better collaboration across the organization.

Visibility of New Check-ins Module
- If you are an existing user of Engagedly, you will see the Old UI by default. If you are a new user, you will only see the New UI
- If you see check-ins in the new UI, you will also see it in the old UI when you switch from the new UI to old UI.
Launching a Check-in
- You can launch a check-in by clicking on the ‘Launch’ button.
- You can launch a check-in from Overview, Dashboards, My check-ins, Team Check-in and Org check-in tabs.
- By clicking on ‘Launch’, you can launch or create a new check-in ‘For Myself’ and ‘For Someone Else’.
- You can launch a check-in by selecting the “new’ or ‘Use a Template’ radio button.
Launching a New Check-in – For Myself
- When you select ‘New’ radio button on the pop-up, ‘Launch a check-in’ pop-up would be displayed.
- You can add Check-in Title
- You can add 3 types of topics
- Text type
- Multiple choice type
- Rating scale type
- On clicking ‘Next’, the ‘Assignment settings’ page would be displayed.
- You can make check-in as One Time or Recurring check-in by selecting ‘Yes’/’No’ respectively.
Launching a New Check-in – For Someone Else
- You can launch a check-in for any user in the organization by clicking ‘For someone else’.
- You can add 3 types of topics to the check-in:
- Text
- Multiple Choice
- Rating Scale
- You can select any number of members in the organization.
- You can launch a check-in for the following groups:
- Departments
- Business units
- Open groups
- Closed groups
- Smart groups
- Everyone
Home Check-ins Overview – Pending Actions
- You can view all the pending check-ins on the ‘Pending Actions’ widget.
- Pending actions would be listed in the following order of the due date:
- Past due
- Today
- Future due
Home Check-ins Overview – My Check-ins
- All the check-ins would be listed under ‘My Check-ins’.
- By default, check-ins of all the statuses are shown.
- A dropdown menu is displayed when you click on the ‘All Statuses’ filter.
- Based on the filter you select, check-ins would be displayed.
Check-ins Forms
- The check-ins form shows the progress bar for you to know the percentage of answered and unanswered sections.
- Here you have the option to ‘Save’ and ‘Submit’ the check-in.
- All the details related to the check-in will be listed on this page along with the Pending/Overdue/Missed/Completed status.
- You can see all the questions in the check-ins form that are pending and overdue.
- For missed check-ins, the form will be disabled. Which means you will not be able to make any changes.
- You can only view missed check-ins and add comments.
- For completed check-ins, forms will be visible with answers.
- You will be able to add comments to each topic.
- You will also have the option to export the check-in form as a PDF file.
Date Filter in Check-in Form
- When you click on the check-in form, a check-in pop-up will appear and the date filter will be shown for recurring check-ins.
- Click on the date filter arrow and you will see a dropdown with all the recurrence dates.
- When you click on a particular recurrence, you will see the respective check-in form.
View All Responses in Check-in Form
- When you click on the check-in form, a check-in pop-up will appear, and ‘View All Responses’ option is shown for recurring check-ins.
- Click on the ‘View All Responses’ option and a pop-up will be shown with all the responses given for that topic.
- If you have not answered a particular topic ‘Respondent has not answered this question’ text would be shown.
Resource Center
- You will be able to see all the check-ins which are requested by others and requested by self.
- Name, Requestor, Recurs, and Check-ins columns are shown. Filters are available only under the ‘Requestor’ column to filter the check-ins based on the requestor.
- Search and date filters are also available to filter the data.
Home Check-ins – Dashboard
- You will be able to view check-ins in a graphical representation based on the ‘Response Status’ and ‘Monthly Responses’.
- On the ‘Response Status’ donut, all the data will be shown based on the statuses of the check-ins.
- When you click on the donut, a pop-up will open with respective check-ins.
- Clicking on the filter will show a dropdown menu.
- You can filter check-ins for 30, 90, 180, and 365 days.
- On the ‘Monthly Responses’ graph, 6 months’ data would be displayed based on the statuses of the check-ins.
- When you click on the graph, a pop-up will open with respective check-ins.
- Click on the ‘Active Check-ins’ count and you will see all active check-ins count on the pop-up.
- Active check-ins are the check-ins on which you can perform actions like save, submit and edit.
- If you click on the arrow with ‘Active Check-ins Count’, a pop-up will appear with active check-ins.
Home Check-ins – Templates
- All the templates created by self and shared by other users are listed under the templates tab.
- You can edit, share and delete the templates created by self.
Create/Edit Template page
- ‘Create Template’ allows you to add Template Title and Description.
- Three types of topics can be added to a template
- Text
- Multiple Choice
- Rating Scale
- Already saved templates have the option to Edit Info, Share and Delete.
Share a Template
- A template can be shared with other users in the organization.
- You can search and select the users with whom you want to share the template.
Delete a Template
- You can delete a template from the overflow menu options.
- Delete confirmation message will be shown to you upon deletion.
Home Check-ins – My Check-ins -> Launched by You
- All the check-ins launched by you for self and someone else would be listed under ‘Launched by You’.
- When you click on a particular check-in, a side grid will open up for the respective check-in and you will be able to see all the responses of that check-in.
- Clicking on the ‘Nudge All’ option will show a pop-up. You can nudge all the users with pending check-ins.
- By clicking on the overflow menu, you can perform the following actions on launched check-ins:
- Pause Check-in
- Edit
- Delete
- Manage Columns
- Export
- When you click on ‘Pause check-in’ from the overflow, a pop-up will appear and you can pause a check-in.
- On clicking ‘Resume check-in’ from the overflow menu, you can resume a check-in.
- On clicking ‘Edit’ from the overflow, a pop-up will appear and you can edit the check-in.
- On clicking ‘Delete’ from the overflow, a pop-up will appear and you can delete the check-in.
- On clicking ‘Manage columns’, you can select or unselect the columns.
- On clicking ‘Export’, you can export the responses.
Home Check-ins – My Check-ins -> Requested from You
- All the check-ins launched to you by someone else and by you would be listed under ‘Requested from You’.
- Clicking on a particular check-in will open up a side grid for the respective check-in. You will be able to see all the responses of that check-in.
- On clicking the overflow menu, you can perform the following actions on check-ins:
- Manage Columns
- Export
- On clicking ‘Nudge’ for pending and overdue check-ins, a pop-up will appear and respective users will be notified.
- On clicking ‘View’ for completed and missed check-ins, a pop-up will appear and respective responses will be shown.
- On clicking ‘View’ for a completed response, the response form will be shown on the pop-up.
- On clicking ‘View’ for a missed response, the missed response form will be shown on the pop-up.
Team Check-ins – Dashboard
- If you are a manager, you will be able to see a graphical representation of ‘Team’ and ‘Secondary Team’ check-ins on the dashboard tab.
- ‘Members Without Check-ins’ shows the count of team members without check-ins.
- When you click on it, a pop-up will appear and you will be able to add check-ins.
- On ‘Response Status’ donut, all the check-ins will be displayed based on the statuses of the check-ins.
- Click on the donut and you will see a pop-up with respective status check-ins.
- On ‘Monthly Responses’ graph, all the data will be displayed based on the statuses of the check-ins.
- When you click on the graph, a pop-up will appear with respective status check-ins.
Team Check-ins – Team Check-ins -> Launched by you
- If you are a manager, all the check-ins launched by you to your direct reports would be listed under ‘Launched by You’.
- When you click on a particular check-in, a side grid will open up for the respective check-in and you will be able to view all the responses of that check-in.
Team Check-ins – Team Check-ins -> Launched by Team
- All the check-ins launched by the team would be listed under ‘Launched by Team’.
- When you click on a particular check-in, a side grid will open up for the respective check-in and you will be able to view all the responses of that check-in.
Team Check-ins – Team Check-ins -> Requested from Team
- All the check-ins requested to the team would be listed under ‘Requested from Team’.
- Clicking on a particular check-in will open up a side grid for the respective check-in and you will be able to see all the responses of that check-in.
Admin Check-ins – Dashboard
- If you are an admin, you will be able to see a graphical representation of check-ins on the ‘Dashboard’ tab.

- ‘Member Without Check-ins’ shows the count of members without check-ins.
- When you click on the arrow, a pop-up opens up and you can add check-ins.
- You will be able to see the count of all active check-ins.
- When you click on ‘Active Check-ins’ arrow, a pop-up will appear and all the active check-ins would be listed on the pop-up.
Department and Business Unit Filter on Admin Dashboard
- By default, ‘Org’ data would be shown on the Admin Dashboard.
- When you click on the dropdown, ‘Departments’ and ‘Business Units’ options will be shown.
- Click on ‘Business Unit’ dropdown and you will see all business units that are listed. You can filter the data based on the business unit selected.
- Click on ‘Department’ dropdown and you will see all the departments that are listed. You can filter the data based on the department selected.
Admin Check-ins – Org Check-ins
- If you are an admin, you can view all the check-ins launched by all users in the organization on ‘Org Check-ins’ tab.
- You can nudge all the members with pending check-ins by clicking on ‘Nudge All’.
- You will be able to view the count of all active check-ins.
Notifications
- You will get In-app and Email notifications, once check-in is launched.
- You will get In-app and Email notifications, once check-in is completed.
- You will get In-app and Email notifications if check-in is pending.
- You will get In-app and Email notifications if check-in is overdue.
- You will get In-app and Email notifications for missed check-ins.
- You will get In-app and Email notifications, once check-in comments are added to the check-in.
