We have revamped Engagedly’s setting module and have added some new features. This revamp project for Tangerine intends to simplify the task of the admins by helping them to manage all the modules of Engagedly’s real time performance management software easily.
Note: The below mentioned updates are meant for admins/site admins, unless we mention otherwise.
Overview
The cards of some of the modules are accessible from Settings -> Overview Page.
When you click on the cards, they will open up the respective modules pop up. If you are an admin, you will be able to manage the main functionalities of each module. The users widget displays the graphical representation of additions and departures in the organization.
Apps widget shows the enabled and disabled engagedly apps count.
As an admin, you can also access knowledge based articles from the ‘View Knowledge base‘ option.
Admins can see the account manager and support email information here.
When you click on ‘View knowledge base’, knowledge base articles will open in a new tab.
A banner will be visible on your Engagedly application as shown below. Clicking on the Try It Outor Learn More will navigate the user to respective help articles.
Global Settings
Document Upload
You will be able to manage the following document settings from Settings -> Global settings->Documentupload: -Enable document upload by managers. -Enable document upload by Users. -And, enable notify manager option when uploading documents.
Password Policy
You can manage the General Password settings and the Password requirements from Settings -> Global Settings > Password Policy.
User Settings
You will be able to manage the following user settings from Settings > Global Settings > User settings: General Settings from where admins can configure the language preference for the organization. User Profile settings from where admins will be able to set the User profile details Visibility. Diversity and Inclusion data.
Branding – Login Screen
You will be able to enable and update the following from Settings > Global settings > Branding > Login Screen Company Name Company Logo About
When enabled, the above details will be there on the login screen .
Branding – Color Themes
As an admin, you can update the Color Theme from Settings > Global Settings > Branding > Color Themes.
By default, there is a default color theme.
Along with the color theme, you can also update the header logo.
There is an option to reset to default colors option.
User Management
Users
The list of users in the organization will be listed under Settings > User Management> Users.
List of blocked users can also be viewed by clicking on the “>”.
Admins can continue to add users manually or through import.
Clicking on View Integrations in the Add Users pop up will navigate users to “Integrations” within settings.
Admins can also continue performing the following actions from the overflow menu of each user. Impersonate Assign Permission Block the user Mark as Site Admin Mark as CXO Resend Login Credentials Manage Documents
Roles & Permissions
‘Roles and Permissions’ can be accessed from Settings > User Management > Roles & Permissions.
The default roles will be labelled as ‘Default’.
You can also add new roles based on their requirement.
Department
The list of departments in the organization will be listed under Settings> User management> Departments.
You can add a new Department to the organization using “Add department” button.
You will be able to ‘Edit’ and ‘Delete’ the Departments.
You can search for the departments using Search tab.
You will be able to view members of department by clicking on “MANAGE” .
Business Units
The list of business units in the organization will be listed under Settings> User Management> Business unit.
As an admin, you can add a new business unit to the organization using “Add business unit” button.
You can search for the business unit using Search tab and alsoEdit and Delete the Business units.
You will be able to view members of the business unit by clicking on “MANAGE”.
Job Titles
Job Titles can be accessed from Settings > User Management> Job Titles.
You can also add ‘Competencies’ and ‘Skills’ to Job titles.
Employee Types
The list of ‘Employee Type’ are listed under Settings> User Management> Employee Types.
You can add new Employee Type to the Organization using “Add Employee type” button.
Admin can also Edit and Delete the Employee Type and will be able to view the members of Employee Type by clicking on “VIEW”.
Locations
The list of ‘Locations’ are listed under Settings> User management> Locations.
You can add new Locations to the Organization using “Add location” button.
You can Edit and Delete the Locations and will be able to view the members of Locations by clicking on “VIEW”.
Notifications
You will be able to control the Notifications of various modules of the Organization from Settings> Notifications.
You can disable all the modules Notifications of Organization by clicking on “Disable” or enable all the modules by clicking on “Enable”.
Admin will be able to Check/Uncheck the Notifications of following modules independently. Groups Performance Goals Multirater Learning Feedback Survey Rewards Digest Email Ongoing Check-In Praise Social
You can add additional recipients to birthday and work anniversary alerts by clicking “+add additional recipients”.
You can add more birthday and work anniversary alerts by clicking “+Add rule”.
You will be able to control public feed for birthday and work anniversary alerts.
Activity logs
Activity logs can be viewed under ‘Activity Logs’ in a grid or table consisting of ‘Log Message’, ‘App‘ and ‘Logged At‘.
Email Activity can be viewed under Activity Logs > Email Activity.
Billing
Billing is accessible from Settings > Billing.
Subscription details can be viewed under ‘Subscription Details’. If there is more than one subscription, they can be viewed by clicking on ‘View More’.
The count of pending payments will be shown as alert.
As an admin, you can add and view card details in the ‘Card Details’ section, and have the option to add multiple cards details by using ‘ADD CARD‘ option. Default Card for payments will be marked ‘Default‘ as highlighted.
The ‘Billing Address’ and the ‘Shipping Address‘ can be added and edited from the Billing menu. They can also be managed by Super admin.
Billing Notification can be managed by clicking on Manage, the added employees will get billing related notifications.
Users can be added from the Manage Billing Notification pop up. The users who can manage the billing will be listed.
Any user can be added as ‘Other Users‘ to receive billing notification, any user within the organisation can be searched and added. Added user can be deleted using delete option as shown.
External users can be added for billing notification by selecting ‘External User‘.
Clicking on Add User, admin can add Name and Email id of the external user. Multiple users can be added by clicking on Add More option.
Invoices can be viewed and downloaded from the Invoices table.
Downloading invoice and payments can be done as shown. Clicking on Invoice icon downloads the pdf format invoice. Payment can be initiated by clicking on ‘Pay Now‘.
Competencies
You can manage competencies from Settings > Competencies > Org Library.
You can create competencies from the ‘Create New Competency’ option and fill the required fields in the pop up.
Admin can add description and behaviour to the competency from the Add description and Add behaviour options. Behaviour can be deleted using the delete option.
You can add Job Title to the competency by selecting the competency and + Add job title to competency.
Job Titles can be searched and added from the pop up and also be deleted using delete option.
You can ‘Import’ and ‘Export’ competencies from the overflow menu options.
You can use filters and search options. Search can be performed by competency, description, and behavior.
Categories and tags can be searched using the drop down filters.
You can filter uncategorized competencies by checking the ‘Show only un-categorized‘ option.
You can view Engagedly templates by clicking on ‘View Engagedly Templates’ in the pop-up.
You can add categories and tags in competencies from Settings > competencies > categories and Settings > competencies > tags respectively.
Skills
Skills Library
Skills can be created and managed from Settings > Skills > Skills Library.
Settings
The Skills Proficiency Scale and Notification options for skills can be managed from Settings > Skills > Settings.
Integrations
Admin can access integrations of the organization from Settings > Integrations.
By default, the integrations would have the setup and link to learn how to integrate.
Currently, you can set up 4 integrations – BambooHR, SAML Single Sign On, Namely and Engagedly API.
Engagedly Apps
You can access settings to Engagedly Apps which would provide toggle to Enable and Disable all the Engagedly apps.
360 Feedback
You will be able to see the empty state under Settings>360 Feedback.
Feedback
Settings
You will be able to manage the feedback settings by navigating from Settings > Feedback > Settings.
Under Feedback settings, Admins will be able to manage the General settings as well as the Feedback Visibility settings.
You can also manage the categories by clicking on “Manage”. This will open up the Feedback category pop up from where admins can create, edit and delete Feedback categories.
Features
Under Feedback features, admins will be able to enable/disable share/Request Feedback, and Praise.
Goals
Settings
You can manage ‘Goals Settings‘ from Goals > Settings. Enabling department goals, visibility of the department goals and cross department alignment settings can be controlled.
You can enable business units goals, visibility of the department goals and cross department alignment settings from Settings > Goals > Goals Settings.
You can enable tracking status and auto status update from Goals > Goals Settings and access the related documentation and can control goal import feature from the Enable Goal Import.
You can enable and set up reward points for goals from ‘Enable’ reward points for goals and ‘Manage’ reward points.
You can set Rewards points for goals using ‘+Add rule‘.
Goals cycles can be accessed from Goals > Enable preset and custom goals cycles.
Goals cycles can be created and edited from the Goals Cycles table in goals settings.
Active and Archive Goal cycles can be viewed using the Active-Archive toggle.
Categories
Admin can access goals categories from Goals > Categories.
Goals categories can be added, edited and deleted as seen from the below options.
Unit Types
You can control the goals units types from the Goals > Categories, adding a new unit type can be done by clicking Add.
You can filter the unit type from the status filter. There are three options all, active and inactive.
Groups
Smart Groups
System segmented and manually created smart groups can be managed from Settings > Groups > Smart Groups.
The system segmented smart group cannot be edited/deleted and will have the label ‘Default’.
You will be able to create, edit and delete Manually created smart group.
Features
You will be able to enable/disable the following types of groups from Settings > Groups > Features Open group Closed Group System group
Learning
Categories
The list of learning categories are listed under Settings> Learning> Categories.
You will be able to Enable/Disable the ‘Enable course categories‘ using toggle.
You can add a new category using ‘+add category‘.
As an admin, you will be able to Edit, Delete, Pin or Unpin the categories.
You will be able to add sub categories to categories using “>”.
Tags
The list of learning tags is listed under Settings> Learning> Tags.
You will be able to Create, Edit and Delete the Tag.
Settings
You will be able to enable/disable the following Learning settings under Settings> Learning > Learning Settings. Disable course creation for everyone Disable Engagedly activity.
Performance
General
You can access general performance settings from Engagedly apps > Performance > General.
Training Recommendations
You can view, add and edit the training recommendations from the Training Recommendations Library under performance settings.
Resource Centre
You can access and control the individual sub modules under resource centre from Settings > Resource centre.
Rewards
Discretionary Badges
You will be able to manage the Discretionary Badges from Settings > Rewards > Discretionary Badges.
They will be able to create, edit and also activate/deactivate the custom badges.
A new addition is the Badge Library from where Admins will be able to select the badge logos for the custom Badges.
Activity Badges
System badges, also known as Activity badges, will be listed under Settings > Rewards > Activity Badges.
As part of the new enhancement, we have collaborated both gamification points associated with a particular ‘Activity badge’ so that Admins will be able to update both Activity badges and the Gamification rules from one place.
Manage Redemption
You will be able to configure locations for redemption from Settings > Rewards > Manage Redemption.
You will also be able to ‘Add’ a credit card to add funds from here.
Fund History
All the records of the Fund History will be recorded under Settings > Rewards > Fund History.
Features
You will be able to enable/disable the following Rewards Features from Settings > Rewards> Features. Discretionary Badges Enable Discretionary Points for all employees Activity Badges Points Redemption Ranks & Leaderboard
Social
Social Feed
You will be able to see and manage all the Social posts from Settings > Social > Social Feed.
Settings
You will be able to enable to and set the context text for the following welcome Posts from Settings > Social > Settings Welcome post Birthday post Anniversary post
Note that if the text box is left empty, the default text will automatically reflect on the postcards.
Features
Admins will be able to enable/disable the following Social Features from Settings> Social > Features. Enable Ask For Help Enable Idea Sharing Enable Knowledge Sharing Enable Status Update
Survey
You will be able to manage the following Survey feature from Settings> Survey Everyone Creates Survey
Talent Card

Suggestions Box
You can access the anonymity settings from Settings > Suggestion Box.
