Currently, in the Goals module of Engagedly’s real-time performance management software, the Goal status At Risk and Behind are set manually. Now with the implementation of this update, statuses such as Not Started, On Track, Behind, At Risk, and Achieved would be updated automatically, without the need for manual change. Instead, it will be based on the pre-defined rule set.
Goals Settings
- As a site admin you can now “Enable automatic update of Goal Status“
- Enabling the setting will update the goals automatically based on the pre-defined rules
- If setting is not enabled, users can manually update goal status
- For new organizations, this setting would be enabled by default
- The ‘Enable automatic update of Goal Status’ would only be visible if ‘Enable Tracking Status’ is enabled or checked
Pre-defined conditions for status change
- For ‘Not Started’: When the start date is a future date (goal is yet to start).
- For ‘On Track’: When the actual progress is no more than 16.5% behind the expected progress.
- For ‘At Risk’: When the actual progress is over 33% behind the expected progress.
- For ‘Behind’: When the actual progress is between 16.5% to 33% behind the expected progress.
- For ‘Achieved’: When the actual progress is greater than or equal to 100%.
Status Change
- For Ended goals and Future goals, auto status change would not work.
- Only for open goals auto status change would work.
- For Active, Archived, Locked goals, auto status change would work.
Task Run
- Auto status update task would run once is a day as per the time set.
- Once the task runs, status would update automatically for all goals as per the pre-defined condition set.
- Task run would not apply for Ended, Future, Archived and Lock goals.
- When you perform any actions like check-in, edit etc., on Archived and Lock goals. Status would automatically as per the pre-defined conditions.
Information icons have been added
- Information icons have been added on Goals details page and on Check-in pop-up for better understanding.
- When you click on ‘?’ auto status update pop-up will open up.
Status drop down
- When “Auto Status Update” is enabled, status drop down would not be available on Goals details page and on check-in pop-up.
Status History
- When status is auto updated Status history tab would contain record as below:
