We have introduced session management where site admins can set a session timeout for all the employees of their organisation.

Session time-out

Session time-out for web application users. 

  • The site admin can set session timeout from: Settings -> Organisation ->Password Policy (please refer the below screenshot)

  • The session timeout can be set in minutes, hours, or days

  • The minimum session timeout can be set to 5 minutes and maximum to 30 days
  • By default, for all existing and new organisations session timeout period will be set to 48 hours
  • Once an inactive session reaches the set timeout, you will be logged out from the web or mobile application with a pop-up or a toast message

  • Once you click on ‘Continue’; you would be redirected to the login page on the web application

Session time-out for mobile application users

  • If you have Engagedly login authentication, you will get an alert on the session timeout. Once you click on ‘Ok’, you would be navigated to the login page of the Engagedly app

  • If you have an SSO authentication, you will get an alert on the session timeout. and once you click on ‘Ok’ depending upon the SSO authentication, you would be redirected to the Engagedly app
