Note: All the columns in the Team Dashboard can be sorted.
This can be done in two ways:
- Go to ‘Team Dashboard’ and select the cycle that you want to conduct a review for.
- Click on ‘Assign’ button beside the direct report name that you want to assign the template to.
- Select a template from the list of available templates.
- Click on ‘Submit’
Note: After choosing an action to perform, you can select all the employees by checking the select all check box above the check box section.
FAQ: I assigned a template to my direct report from the Team Dashboard. However, they are unable to view it.
An employee will not see their performance review template until it is shared with them and only HR administrators can share templates with employees, not managers. When managers click on Share, they will see a message which says that sharing can only be done by the HR.
- Go to ‘Templates’ in the ‘Performance’ menu.
- From the list of templates on the page, click ‘Assign’ on the template that you want to assign to your direct report.
- Add direct report and click ‘Submit’
Wait for the assigned performance review template to be shared by the administrator.
Your direct reports can see the assigned template and review their performance only after the administrator shares it through his ‘Org Dashboard’.
Wait for the direct report to share their performance review template with the manager. Manager can also notify them to complete it through their ‘Team Dashboard’.
Go to ‘Team Dashboard’ and select ‘Notify’ under Employee actions. Select the checkboxes next to the names of the direct reports you want to Notify and then click on the Notify button on top.
Once you do this, a pop-up box opens up where you can customize the notification message you want to send.
You will receive a notification when your direct report submits an employee review. Click on the notification and you will be redirected to the ‘Performance Review’ page where you can rate and review the performance of your direct report.
Fill in the manager ratings and add manager remarks. Also fill in the ‘Manager Recommendations’ and click ‘Save’. Then ‘Share’ it to make your rating visible to the direct report and the administrator.
Performance review form allows you to view the ratings, reviews and performance recommendations of an employee.
- Go to Team Dashboard from Performance and click on either employee rating or manager rating.
- The performance review form opens up. If manager ratings and comments have been enabled for the review cycle, you can fill in the review form.
- Once you have filled in manager ratings and comments, you can also fill in manager recommendations and add review notes.
- Review notes are separate from manager remarks in that they can be used to make note of conversations, plans, points etc. They can be filled in at any time, as long as the review cycle is active and the template has been shared.
- Once you are done, you can click on Submit.
The expandable ‘resource center’ bar on the bottom of the page helps you quickly go through the reviewee details like
Job Description – Here you can see the job description and responsibilities of the reviewee
Goals – This section shows you the active and archived goals of the reviewee from previous six months to the current date. You can also use the date picker to find goals from a particular date and search bar for easy search.
Feedback- This section shows you the feedback received by the reviewee from previous six months to the current date. You can also use the date picker to find feedback from a particular date and search bar for easy search.
Notes – This section shows you the notes where the reviewee has been mentioned from previous six months to the current date. You can also use the date picker to find notes from a particular date and search bar for easy search.
Documents – This section shows you the documents that are uploaded by the manager/admin for the reviewee from previous six months to the current date. You can also use the date picker to find documents from a particular date and search bar for easy search.
You can also download the documents by clicking the ‘download’ icon beside the document name.
Past Reviews – Here you can see the archived performance reviews of the reviewee from past six months. You can also use the date picker to find performance reviews from a particular date and search bar for easy search.
360 Feedback – Here you can see the multi-rater feedback received by the reviewee in past six months. You can also use the date picker to find multi-rater feedback from a particular date and search bar for easy search.
Managers can download combined employee performance reviews from the team dashboard or they can download employee performance reviews individually.
If you want to download employee performance reviews for a number of employees at one go, go to your Team Dashboard and hover on the Export menu. You have the option to download reviews for all the employees who are a part of the current cycle, or you can download the reviews of a select few employees from the current cycle
To download reviews for a select number of employees, select the option ‘Select & Export to PDF’. You will then see checkboxes next to employee names. Once you have selected the employees, click on Export. The download link will then be sent to your email id (the one you use for Engagedly account.)
To download reviews for all employees, select the option ‘Export all to PDF’. A download link with the reviews will then be sent your email id.
To download individual employee reviews, click on either the employee, manager or HR ratings of the employee.
The employee’s performance review opens up. When you hover on the ‘Export as PDF’ option, you see the different versions of the review that you can download.
You can download a review that contains the complete review or you can download versions with or without the Manager Recommendations.
