Note: – The enhancements listed below can only be enabled by an Engagedly administrator. If you would like to utilize them, please contact support@engagedly.com with your request.

We have introduced a new feature to let users upload/update their goals or their team goals from an excel file. This feature is really helpful when you need to upload goals in a bulk. Managers can upload goals for all of their direct reports at once, rather than creating and assigning them one by one. Administrators too can create and upload goals for the entire organization at one go.

Importing/Exporting Goals

The goal import feature works only with a specific format. To import goals users need to download the required format from the available options under Import/Export tab and fill in the required data.

Note:- Exporting the format will download a file with all existing goals to guide users on how they need to populate the excel sheet.

Permissions for Goals Import/Export for the Organization and Organization Dashboard View

We have created two new capabilities for the Goals feature. These capabilities have to do with the Goals Export/Import and the Org Dashboard.

They can be found in the Permission tab when you click on ‘+New Permission’.  The two capabilities are displayed in the image below.

Note: To know about how to create a new permission, you can check out the Engagedly documentation here.

Manage Goal Import for All Employees

When a permission is created with this capability and given to a user, that user will be able to export/import goals for all the users in the organization. A permission with this capability will help take the load off HR administrators.

Manage and View Goal Dashboard for Organization

When a permission is created with this capability and given to a user, that user will be able to view the Org Dashboard for Goals. Users with this permission can only view the goals of all users in the organization, not edit or delete them.

It’s helpful for giving users an idea of how employees across the organization are doing with respect to their goals. If you have any further queries about the feature or are facing any issues, please contact support@engagedly.com.
